Got a call from some guy with an Asian accent saying he's called "John." He asked how I’m doing, then suddenly said it’s freezing out but he's outside my place, threatening to rob me and do terrible things. I hung up straight away and checked the number using 1471 - it showed as 01214215635. So glad I didn’t answer more!

Got a call from some pushy people trying to get me to install a software update on my PC. They wouldn’t give any proof or legit info. After I ended the call, they rang again, like trying to argue with me. I’ve blocked the number now.

I told her I was still aching from a tumble down the stairs, but honestly, it was getting hit by a car that knocked me for six. Still, I appreciated her reaching out and then I ended the call.

Got a call from this number, some guy with an Asian accent claiming to be from the A&E department. He sounded really dodgy, like he didn’t know what he was talking about, so I knew right away it was a scam. Just to be sure, I tried calling the number back but couldn’t get through. How do these scammers even get hold of our numbers? It’s proper frustrating.

I got a call from 0121 421 5635 not long ago, with a woman who said there was a security issue on my PC right before I was about to leave. She sounded like she had an accent and was quite pushy about calling back later urgently, so I said she could ring again at half past five. While waiting, I chatted with my daughter, who said she'd had the same kind of call. When the lady rang back, my husband answered and firmly told her we weren’t interested and to stop bothering us. As someone a bit older, I have to say, it did make me feel uneasy.

This afternoon, around 14:10, I got a call from a man with an Asian accent saying he was from BT. He knew my account number, which I confirmed while he was still on the phone - it was right. He tried to get me to link up with my computer, claiming there was an issue with my internet. I told him to call back in the morning since I was just going out. Later, I phoned BT to ask if anyone had called me and they said no one did. Hopefully he calls again tomorrow, as I’ll be prepared to give him a proper telling off. I wish someone else would put him right too!

This number keeps ringing me but there’s never anyone when I pick up. I’m also getting calls from places way outside my area. I’ve got my number on the ex-directory list, so I shouldn’t be getting these random cold calls. It’s just really annoying. Proper fed up now.

Got a call from a woman claiming to be from TalkTalk, saying there were problems with my internet. Thing is, I haven’t noticed any issues at all. She asked me to get on my laptop to fix some settings, which I found a bit fishy as I don’t even have a laptop - just use the internet for my TV. After I told her that, she just ended the call. Bit of a shame, I didn’t catch her name or anything.

It usually drives him mad and he ends up slamming the phone down. If they’re gonna keep annoying with calls, might as well make it amusing for us!

Got a ring from this number at about 1:10pm today. It was a lady with an Asian accent, gave me a name that sounded quite English. She claimed there was an issue with my computer server. When I said "no, I haven’t," she got really pushy and insisted "yes, you do." Won't repeat what I told her back, but it definitely wasn’t polite language - still, anyone trying to scam me, regardless of whether it’s a bloke or a lass, is gonna get treated the same way!

This morning, around 9am, I got a call from a guy with a foreign accent claiming he was from BT about our internet problems. I asked him for his full name and phone number, but he got really annoyed and rude, then just cut me off. I've received calls from this number before, with someone sounding much the same, saying they were from BT or Microsoft Windows. Plus, loads of times they've called and said nothing before hanging up. It's so frustrating and exhausting. Honestly, I think this should be reported as harassment to the police.

I got a call from a young guy who sounded Asian, saying he was ringing from BT and wanted to talk to the homeowner. I told him I wasn’t the owner. He kept saying it was about our internet. I didn’t trust him and told him if he was really from BT they’d send us a letter, then I ended the call. Since we’re already with BT, they’d obviously know our name, which made me suspicious. Plus, the number was from Birmingham and not an 0800 number like BT would use. Definitely felt like a scam.

This number keeps ringing me, and it’s some bloke with an Indian accent talking through a really scratchy line. He’s been pretty nasty and shouty on the phone. Said he was from Windows and then also BT, which I found a bit odd. All he cared about was my laptop or computer, nothing else. It’s got so bad I ended up having to get a new phone number just to stop the endless ringing.

There was a pause with some noise in the background, then a young bloke with a really strong foreign accent started talking. I couldn’t quite catch what he was saying, but he mentioned a company name. When I asked how he got my number, he said something like I’m on the internet and they’re internet service providers. I told him thanks, but I’m not interested.
