I received a phone call purporting to be from HMRC, stating that there was a case lodged against me. To begin with, HMRC wouldn’t contact anyone in such a casual way. When I pressed option one, a chap with an Indian accent picked up. When I inquired about the so-called case, he abruptly hung up. This is quite concerning!
