The moment I picked up, they just hung up straight away!!

They said they were from O2, but as soon as I told them my phone flagged the call as possible spam, they just ended it.

Some bloke called saying he was from 02, trying to sell me some discount deal. I told him I wasn't interested and didn’t require any offers. He seemed a bit puzzled why I’d refuse a discount. I just ended the call after that.

Some bloke rang me, saying he was from O2 and could give me a 30% cut on my phone deal. Problem is, I’m not even with O2, so that was a bit odd. He sounded like he wasn’t from around here, so I said I was recording the call just for a bit of fun, and then told him to jog on because I'm not into dealing with people like him.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with Vodafone, but the background noise was all call centre chatter. The woman insisted I had a contract with them, to which I replied, “No, I don’t.” Then she said, “Oh, it must be a business phone.” I told her bluntly, “No, you’ve got the wrong idea. Have a good Christmas!” and ended the call. Not sure if they were trying to scam me or just pretty rubbish at selling stuff.
