The person on the phone somehow had my name and said they worked for some firm that tracks down folks with unclaimed money. When I asked what exactly this “unclaimed money” was, they mentioned a “bitcoin wallet.” I’ve never had any interest in bitcoin, so I told them that straight away. They went on trying to persuade me it was actually my bitcoin. I ended up telling them it was a load of rubbish and to stop wasting my time, plus to find a proper job rather than trying to con people. Then I just hung up. Honestly, it made me so frustrated!

My landline and mobile rang pretty much at the same time, so I picked up the mobile. The person asked, "Is this Mr. 21?" I just said, "Who’s this?" They gave some name, but I didn’t quite catch it, so I asked again. Then I said, "No, I meant who are you?" and the caller just ended the call right there. Seems odd to me that they called me Mr. Something without me giving my name first and then suddenly hung up. Doesn’t seem legit at all.
