I received a robocall earlier stating, “If you’re a Barclays, Lloyds, or Nat West client, you’re entitled to some form of compensation. Hit 5 to continue or 9 to opt-out of future calls.” I decided against pressing 9. I’ve been with the Telephone Preference Service for ages now. Honestly, if I had any inkling about the true identity of these callers, I’d surely ring them non-stop at all hours!

Annoying company has been ringing me twice now, probably using some automated system. I really wish there were regulations to stop this sort of nuisance.

I've been receiving a spate of automated calls, usually two or three in a row, particularly after I've dialled 1471 to look up a number. Quite the hassle, I must say!

I'm absolutely fed up with the incessant nuisance from those PPI scam firms bombarding us with their automated calls. It's become a right pain! Time to submit yet another complaint to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Once got these annoying fax calls that gobbled up loads of my fax paper, like half a roll each time. The only way to make them quit was by sending a fax back to a number, which ended up costing me a fortune! This scam pretty much uses the same nasty trick - pay or expect nonstop hassle. Seriously, who’s meant to be keeping an eye on this stuff?

So annoying, got a call at like 1.07am when my mum was really poorly. I picked up and it was just some recorded message. Who even does that? Someone needs to sort this out, it’s ridiculous.

They've started using ransomware on PCs to demand cash, it’s probably lining their pockets big time. It’s like they’ve got a double plan going on here. Watch out everyone, stay safe!

This number has called me twice now, once yesterday and again earlier today. I got a voicemail that cuts off, but it mentioned pressing 9 to stop getting any more 'reminder' calls or something like that. Tried it, but it doesn’t seem to do anything. Quite frustrating!

This number has called me twice - once yesterday and again a little while ago. I didn’t know who it was so I called back using 141 before the number, and ended up hearing a recorded message saying the number’s been blocked by the fraud department. They asked to report it by calling an 0300 number or visiting a website they mentioned. Feels a bit dodgy to me - could that whole thing be a scam too?
