The automated voice sounded pretty real, but I don't think it was voice activated or anything. It kept asking me about some car crash and insurance stuff. I just asked where they got my details from and then the call ended with a message saying they'd take my number off their list. No actual person on the other end.

This feels like one of those dodgy calls where they try to trick you into saying "yes" and then somehow you've agreed to something out of nowhere! I just ended up blocking the number.
