Got a call from someone claiming to be local Indian, but honestly, these lot sounded like they’d been munching on too much spicy snack and their English was even harder to understand. Unlike the dodgy curry places around here charging a fortune for a lamb korma with god knows what in it, these blokes seemed like rough, scruffy sorts just trying to get by on a few rupees daily. Proper nose pickers and all, genuinely a bit grim!

On the 13th of December 2019, I had a car crash.

Got a call from this number out of the blue. Wasn’t really expecting anything. When I tried ringing back, couldn’t get through - it just said connection failed. Could it be a spam call or maybe some sort of call centre? Not sure.

When I get a call from an unknown number and wanna find out who's calling, I usually pick up without saying anything. Almost every time, after about a second, I hear a click and then nothing more. If I can hear people talking loudly in the background, I just hang up straight away. If it’s really important, they’ll leave a voicemail anyway.

Been getting calls on different numbers, this one included, for the third time now. A woman asked for me by name, but when I asked who it was, she just ended the call. Could really hear a call centre buzzing in the background, so pretty sure it’s some spam or scam going on here!

Honestly, I have no clue who it was. I just answered and told them to buzz off. Whenever someone starts with ‘hello (first name), how are you?’ you can bet it’s telemarketers trying to sell you something.
