Somebody called me claiming to be Michelle and said there was a government programme for new boilers. I told her I wasn’t interested, then she quickly said thanks and ended the call.

Called my home phone just before 10 in the morning. It was engaged so I didn’t pick up. Didn’t leave any voicemail, so obviously a scam call. It’s now blocked.

I had a couple of phone calls from them earlier today. They were rather insistent, to say the least.

I had someone call me about this government energy plan, seemed really polite at first, but I just said no thank you.

My answering machine picked up but there was complete silence on the other end.

Luckily, my BT line stopped the call from coming through.

Constant calls nonstop, I've been blocking and scanning numbers but never any message left. Definitely a SCAM and it's really upsetting getting them so early in the morning!!

I got a call from a woman claiming to be with the government’s energy programme. I cut her off straight away since I already qualify and have everything sorted out.

Pretty sure this was a scam. As soon as I told them my boiler was brand new and said I don’t take random calls, the chat was over. Didn’t bother keeping the talk going.

I had a phone call today regarding complimentary radiator replacements. The caller, a woman, asked me a number of questions, one of which was whether I lived in a flat. I informed her that I wasn't interested, yet she mentioned I could expect another call in the future. Quite persistent, I must say!

Sounds like one of those heater scams, I guess. Well, at least the person sounded British and wasn’t a robot this time.

Didn’t get any message at all, total scam.

Heating con artists at it again!

I recently encountered a situation with the eco 4 boiler replacement initiative. They pretended to be merely assessing eligibility for the programme, but I can't help but feel it was all a scam! Absolutely shocking!

Totally a heating system ripoff.

My home phone rang but I didn't pick up since I didn’t know the number. They didn’t leave any voicemail either.

They didn’t leave any message, so I’m guessing it’s one of those dodgy calls, probably some scammer from India, Pakistan or Africa. Just another waste of time really.

Phew, good thing I looked this site up before answering! Judging from what others have said, it’s definitely one of those annoying spam numbers. Cheers for stopping me from getting caught out by a scam caller again!

Got a call from some auto dialler but no one said a word. We’ve been on the TPS list ages ago, but it honestly does nothing to stop these calls. I reckon these scammers will only stop once they start losing money. The regulators really need to step up and do something about this. . . . .

Pretty sure this was one of those dodgy calls about boilers trying to sell something.

I ignored the call since the number wasn’t familiar to me. When our phone picked up, there was no message left, so I reckon it was some sort of autodialling system. We’re registered with the TPS, so they really shouldn’t be calling us. I’d even call it “harassment,” especially as one of us works nights and wasn’t too happy about being disturbed like that. They really ought to stop calling altogether.

Received a dodgy call about swapping my boiler. The person on the line was keen to check if I could qualify for some sort of government funding. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise, and when I answered, there was a kid’s voice on the answering machine. Could be someone ringing the wrong number, or maybe one of those tricky call back scams. Either way, felt a bit dodgy to me.

The person calling must not be using the TPS register, otherwise they wouldn't be ringing my number. I've already blocked calls coming from 01213926983 on IVo.

I was unsure so I just let the call go, but the number looked a lot like one we’ve had ring before.

Got a call about switching my boiler, they kept banging on about local council funds being available around here - felt totally dodgy to me, just a trick to make you swap out your heater for no good reason.
