I answered my phone but there was nobody on the line. I just left it open and after about a minute the call got cut off. Now the number’s blocked.

I got a call from someone pretending to be from E.ON. They had my name, address and phone number right, which freaked me out. They said our fixed price tariff was going to increase soon. I ended the call quick and rang E.ON directly, but they said they had no idea about this and that our tariff couldn't be changed like that. Definitely a scam.

Got a dodgy call from someone claiming their email was btcybercrimes@directgmaill###] - total nonsense! The chap said his name was John George and wanted to install software on my PC to "secure" it. I wasn't having any of it. This definitely isn’t from Visa or BT, it’s just a trick to get malware on your machine so they can steal your passwords and hack into your bank accounts. Do NOT go along with any of their requests!

Got a call from this number which seemed like a scam. They said it was BT Services, but I didn’t bother calling back. It looks like one of those visa secure scams, came from 01634233418.
