I received a call today from a gentleman with an Asian accent who wanted to chat about loans. It seemed he was trying to offer me some sort of lending arrangement, but I quickly clocked on that it was a scam and promptly disconnected the call.

Got a call from a tiny asian bloke again, claiming to be from some loan firm. He reckoned I’d got my birth date wrong, said I couldn’t be that young. Then he went on about how he figured I might be having money troubles. I told him he was being a bit cheeky. He promised to take me off their call list. Honestly, these lot ring me from every dialling code you can imagine, so I like to mess about with them now. Always ask for their FCA number and why they ain't recording the calls.

Supposedly, we got a white paper about cloud computing. That might be true. However, there's no chance we'll do phone business with a number that's unfamiliar to us. After that, they tried pushing more ITC stuff on us. When we asked to be removed from their database, it was like shouting into the void.

Got a call from a woman with an accent that sounded like she was from somewhere in the Indian subcontinent. She kept saying something about claiming my business listing or else someone else might take it over. I wasn’t quite clear on what the whole thing was about, but I just told her I wasn’t interested and ended the call.

These callers attempt to gather your personal details like your full name, email, phone brand and model, plus who your mobile network is. They’ll often claim they can offer you a cheaper deal with the latest phones guaranteed, saying you don’t even need to end your current contract. When I asked them to take my number off their list, they flat out refused and wouldn't connect me to a manager. Eventually, they just hang up, clearly frustrated I wasn’t tricked by their nonsense.
