Got a call from someone saying they were with Three mobile. They asked how much my phone contract costs, but when I said they should already have that info if they really worked for Three, they suddenly got all dodgy. Pretty clear it’s a scam - steer well clear.

I haven't a clue who this number belongs to, but I'm fairly convinced the chap on the other end was up to no good. His accent was quite thick, reminiscent of Indian tones, and the background noise was utterly chaotic. It felt like he was phoning from one of those call centres. Thankfully, our conversation was brief, as I had zero interest in whatever it was he was trying to sell.

I picked up the phone, but the caller disconnected straight away.

Every time I block their numbers, they just switch up the last four digits and ring me again! These are obviously call centre scammers. I keep having to block them but they just keep coming back!

The voice on the phone had an Asian accent and said his name was Gavin. I could hear another person chatting in the background like it was a call centre or something. I just hung up straight away.

I called back and all I got was a message telling me to leave a voicemail after the beep. Honestly, if you’re ringing me out the blue, no thanks! You’re the one who called first, so I’m pretty sure this is just some dodgy scam.

This number called me and said that if I didn’t get in touch with either them or my solicitor, I’d end up in some sort of deep trouble.
