Received a call from someone claiming to be with a national survey or something along those lines, clearly trying to fish for my personal information!

On 21 April 2022 at around 1:32pm, this number 0121 444 5071 gave me a ring. Luckily, I have caller ID and left it unanswered. They then left a voicemail which was clearly just an automated message claiming there was some suspicious transaction on my bank card. They told me to get in touch with their support team to sort it out. It’s obviously a dodgy scam trying to get details about my card. Don’t fall for it or reply. I’ve gone ahead and blocked this number now.

They said it was a national survey at first. But when I said I didn’t want to take part, the person on the phone started threatening me, saying they’d share my info with loads of companies and I’d get bombarded with calls. Then, they just ended the call.
