Received a call supposedly from RCN inquiring about my pay rise, yet they wanted me to verify some personal information. Excuse me, you dialled my number—I'm not naive!

Received a call claiming to be from the RCN, which struck me as rather peculiar. They insisted I verify my details, but I felt rather hesitant about it since I couldn’t substantiate their legitimacy. I decided it was best to cut the conversation short. There was quite a bit of background commotion, and the chap on the other end seemed a bit flustered and uncertain with his words.

I received a genuine call from a number affiliated with the RCN, reminding its members to cast their votes. They didn't ask for any personal details so it felt perfectly safe.

Claimed they were ringing from RCM and requested my email address, then abruptly hung up.

I received a call from a number I didn’t recognise, so I decided not to pick it up. They didn’t bother leaving a message, which I thought was rather odd.

I received a call from this number purporting to be RCN, asserting it was regarding the pay award for nurses. There was a fair bit of call centre commotion going on in the background as well. I decided to end the conversation prematurely.
