I missed a call from this number and rang back. They said it's from a lottery. Told them to take me off their list and then blocked the number.

They approached me with a proposal to assist in sorting out supposed outstanding debts I never actually had. It all seemed rather dubious, as I can assure you I’m debt-free. I seriously doubt the authenticity of this so-called debt consolidation service; it struck me as nothing more than a fraudulent operation.

They called, I missed it and decided to call them back. Talk about some lottery nonsense. I just hung up and blocked the number straight away.

This was the first occasion I got a call from this number, though I'd already had a similar one buzz me earlier. That other number has called me loads of times but when I tried calling back, it wouldn’t let me through. If it’s meant to be debt collectors like some folks are saying, then I reckon it’s a complete scam because I’ve no debts whatsoever.

I never pick up numbers I don’t recognise and they haven’t left a voicemail either. Did a bit of searching online to get some clues before calling back, but no luck so far - some similar numbers get linked to debt collection agencies, possibly bailiffs over in Scotland. Anyone got any info on who could be behind this?
