Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent claiming to be from BT. He said there was some issue with my internet because someone was trying to download dodgy stuff. Problem is, I’m not even a BT customer! He insisted BT handles all the connections anyway. When I asked for his number, he got all awkward, like “Why do you want it?” I told him I’m tied up and then said just call me later. I wasn’t buying any of it and made it clear I knew he was talking nonsense.
