I use the announce feature on my phone, so when this number called, they hung up straight away without leaving a voicemail. I looked it up on this site and decided to block it since it’s obviously spam.

At about 11.45 on 3rd September 2024, I got a call from someone claiming to be from an energy firm. When they asked if I owned the house, I told them I don’t share details with strangers on the phone, and then they just hung up. Definitely sounds like a scam to me.

They tried ringing me on 2nd September, but I couldn’t get beyond seeing who was calling.
