It’s definitely some sort of cyber scam. They ring you up and ask for your email, then send you a message with a link inside. The aim is for you to click on that link and change your password. Just hang up straight away. They try to rush you, saying it’ll only take a minute and it’s urgent. They kept ringing me over and over until I had to block them. Then they even tried calling me on a different number, which I’ve also flagged here.

The number rang me numerous times, but my phone flagged it as spam, so I decided to block it. Whenever my device alerts me to a potential spam call, I simply block and delete it without giving a second thought to any messages that might be left by the caller.

If you don’t have an account with 02, steer clear of this number or anyone pretending to be from them - they’re really aggressive and pushy. Wouldn’t recommend dealing with them at all.

O2's been ringing me loads, different number each time, like three calls in a day. I just ended the third one cause I didn't want to keep talking.

Got a call claiming to be from O2, telling me my number was picked for a contract discount. Thing is, I don’t even have a contract! So I just ended the call straight away. It’s a total scam - they keep switching between saying they’re from Microsoft or O2 using the same number. Proper low people trying to trick folks into handing over cash. Honestly, I can’t understand how they sleep at night.

Got a call yesterday from someone pretending to be O2, trying some dodgy scam about mobile contracts. They rang on a number that was almost the same as mine, but I've blocked it now. Honestly, I wouldn't believe anything from calls like that.

A woman rang me saying she was from Microsoft. I told her my computer doesn't even run that OS, and she quickly hung up. Pretty clear it was just a scam call.

Got a call from a woman saying she was from Microsoft. I told her I don’t even have their software installed, and she just hung up straight away. Pretty sure it was a scam. From what I can see, the number hasn’t been active for some time but seems to have started up again recently.

When I questioned the man who phoned me, he started getting rude, even calling me a c.t and asking who I thought I was. I told him I suspected he was trying to scam me. If he really worked for Microsoft Windows, they seriously need to train their staff better.
