Sounds like a telemarketer to me, he was trying to sell some kitchen stuff. Not sure if it was a scam or a genuine call, but I wasn’t interested so I just said no thanks and he said alright and hung up.

Around 7:45 pm, some supposed financial trading firm rang me but they had my name all mixed up. They said they were calling from the ‘UK’ but wouldn’t give me any other info. They tried to get me to click on their website - I had a bit of fun stringing them along before they worked out I was messing about with them.

This definitely isnt some spam call - they only get in touch if you’ve shared your info with them somehow on social media. It’s Synexus - a legit medical research outfit. I’ve dealt with them quite a few times and they seem proper reliable to me.

So, there’s this private health firm called Synexus, looking for people willing to take part in studies for osteoarthritis and stuff like that. I saw their ad on Facebook and signed up. They emailed me saying my health issues matched what they were after. They said they’d ring me, but whenever they do, they just drop the call right after I pick up. Feels like some sort of automated system is running the show. It’s pretty weird that they never actually talk to you when you answer their calls.

I got a voicemail from this company that’s connected with the NHS doing medical trials. They gave me a free phone number to ring them back on. I signed up as a volunteer through my doctor, so they weren’t calling out of the blue.

Got a call from these people earlier, left me a voicemail. Turns out it’s Synexus, a company that does medical trials. I’d honestly forgotten I’d signed up with them. This wasnt some random spam or junk call, it actually kept ringing me a few times! The company is called Syns us, based in Birmingham, they’re a medical trials firm. Folks getting these calls have usually signed up for some sort of medical study, likely for chronic pain or something similar where they’re testing pain relief options? So its not a pestering call at all, they even promote it on Facebook if anyones curious who’s been trying to contact them. I only found out after I called back to check. x
