Loads of calls came from 1217389899 and a bunch of other numbers too, like at least eight different ones. None of them called back again though. It was a woman with an Indian accent on the line, but I couldn’t make out what she was saying, just like many others have said. Really wish there was a way to put an end to this nonsense.

I picked up the phone and there was silence for a few seconds. Then I heard a click, like someone came on the line. A lady asked if our director was there by his first name. I told her he wasn’t around, and she just hung up straight away. Pretty sure it was just a spam call.

Sounds like one of those calls from an Indian call centre again! They keep switching up their phone numbers, so just blocking them does nothing since they phone from a new one each time.

I've received several bothersome calls from this number over the past few days. Initially, I assumed it was just a prankster trying to have a laugh, so I shrugged them off. However, today I decided to take the plunge and look it up online. To my utter astonishment, I discovered that this number has been flagged as potentially dangerous and likely linked to scams! I’m definitely going to block it right after I finish sharing this warning.

Got a call from Edward who was polite and said thanks for picking up, unlike some others who get rude. He asked for a short completion which I wasn’t up for, so I said no. He still thanked me for my time before ending the call. I’ve blocked the number now. Lately, I’ve been getting loads of calls from call centres in India, hope they ease off soon.

Got a call from a woman with a really thick accent, kept saying hello over and over, then asked if I was Mrs. XYZ. Definitely sounded like some sort of scam call. I just blocked the number. Looks like those annoying calls are back now that lockdown’s over!

They called me and actually used my name, trying to have a little chat. When I asked which company they were with, they said something like Verto(?). Then, sounding quite annoyed, they said they weren’t trying to sell anything and just ended the call straight away.

This morning I got a call from a lady at this number who asked if she’d reached me by name. I confirmed and asked what she needed. She then rushed through saying she was calling from some company doing a survey. I wasn’t certain what she said so I asked her to repeat the company a few times, and she sounded quite irritated. Eventually I caught the name - it was Bridgestone, like the tyre firm. I told her I wasn’t interested and was busy with work, and then she just hung up. I went ahead and blocked the number after that.

Just got a call about 10 mins back, claimed it was a survey but you could tell they were just sticking to a script. When I tried to ask something, they got a bit flustered and stuck to reading lines. Also had a really strong foreign accent, kinda hard to catch what they were saying.

This number seemed like nothing but pestering, calling at all sorts of odd hours. Feels like those annoying cash traps, constantly waiting to reel you in. If you don’t know the caller, best to just ignore it. These numbers just get traded around to more scammers. Honestly, “wankers” sums them up pretty well.

Someone rang claiming to be from a firm called Vento, saying they were doing a home survey. As soon as I told them I wasn’t willing to give out any personal details, they just ended the call.
