It rang at 9:25 in the morning and I was actually in the mood to mess about with whoever answered. Too bad, as soon as I picked up, the call just dropped on me.

Got a call from someone with an Asian accent claiming to be from BT Openreach, saying there was an issue with my internet connection according to their records. I was pretty sure it was a scam right away, so I decided to humour him for a bit. Then I asked if he could answer some personal questions to prove he was legit. He said yes, but the moment I asked how long we’d been with BT Openreach, he just hung up! Totally expected it to happen like that lol.

Got a call from someone saying she was Karen Brady - definitely not the well-known one, mind you! She asked if I’d been in some kind of accident. When I asked if she actually knew who I was, it was clear she had no clue. She just wanted me to confirm if I’d been involved in a crash or something, so I said nothing and ended the call. Just another pointless chat from these constant scam or fake callers. What a pain.

Got a call on my phone today from someone saying I’d been in a car crash recently. Total nonsense - it’s obviously a scam. Best thing to do is just hang up and flag it as a spam call.
