It rang at 9:25 in the morning and I was actually in the mood to mess about with whoever answered. Too bad, as soon as I picked up, the call just dropped on me.

Got a call from someone with an Asian accent claiming to be from BT Openreach, saying there was an issue with my internet connection according to their records. I was pretty sure it was a scam right away, so I decided to humour him for a bit. Then I asked if he could answer some personal questions to prove he was legit. He said yes, but the moment I asked how long we’d been with BT Openreach, he just hung up! Totally expected it to happen like that lol.

I received a call from a woman who said her name was Karen Brady-definitely not the one you’d recognise from television! She inquired if I’d been in any sort of accident. When I asked if she knew anything about me, it was evident she wasn’t clued in at all. Still, she pressed me to confirm if there had been an incident, but I wasn’t falling for that and ended the conversation right there. Just another tedious attempt from these relentless scam artists!
