I put an ad up on Gumtree and got a call from someone, but he wasn’t expecting the reaction he got from me. I gave him a proper telling off and didn’t hold back on the insults. Needless to say, I’ve now blocked his number.

Got loads of calls from Birmingham and London too, just nonstop! Totally a SCAM, honestly. Gumtree really needs to look into this mess and do something about it. I put a phone ad up on Gumtree and since then, my phone won't stop ringing with calls about some accident. They wouldn’t tell me any details, just kept saying it wasn’t my fault! After about five calls, I got fed up and let my partner answer. They went on to say he was involved in an accident and that it was his fault! Absolutely ridiculous, made me laugh out loud!
