For the past week, my mum's been receiving calls from what looks like a local number. I was actually there once it rang and managed to record it. The number always starts with the same series of digits but the last four change each time. Whenever she picks up, it's dead silent and then the caller just hangs up. She's worried it might be some sort of scam, so she won’t be returning the calls. We’re going to keep track of any new ones and report them to BT.
