Got a call from this number 01217900373, some lady pretending to be from HMRC. It's all a load of rubbish, don’t fall for it. Definitely a scam. Best thing is just block them or simply don’t pick up.

This number has rung me up a couple times this week. There was a recorded lady’s voice with what sounded like an American or maybe Latin accent, saying they’d been trying to reach me and that my internet would be cut off in 24 hours. I just hung up straight away without hearing any more.

This number has rung me a couple times saying my computer’s IP address was hacked in multiple countries. They claimed my internet would be cut off in 24 hours unless I pressed 1 to keep it free. I’m definitely calling BT, my provider, to check what’s really going on. Feels like just another scam to me.
