Got a phone call from someone called Amy claiming she was with Microsoft, saying there was an issue with my computer. I highly doubt it was really Microsoft since I’ve got an account with them and they usually contact you via email, not phone. Seems a bit fishy to me.

Got a dodgy call claiming to be from Amazon, saying they’re gonna take money from my account for stuff I never bought. They wanted me to press 1 to speak to someone on the other end, but it’s clearly some scammer trying to grab my bank info or card details to 'verify' me. Total rubbish!

Got another call today I didn’t recognise, it was from 01213506871 in Birmingham, and earlier I had one from 01223 583643, which is Cambridge. Both times I tried to call back on my landline and mobile but no reply. I always let unknown numbers go to my answerphone, but these ones never leave a message, makes me think it’s probably a scam or something dodgy.

This is the second time today I've gotten one of those recorded scam calls about an Amazon package. I'm really fed up with these dodgy calls. It feels impossible to actually report them properly. They tell you to contact TPS, then the police say you should report it to TPS, and the website just sends you back to the police. It's a never-ending loop! You'd think someone would step up and deal with this growing issue by now. There's always something every single day!
