this person claimed to be from amazon, wanted my ip address. as soon as i told them i wasnt giving it they just hung up on me.

Got a call claiming to be from Amazon, saying someone in London had bought a gift card using my account. They wanted to check if it was my mum. I told them no, and that we don’t know anyone in London. Then they handed me over to a guy who asked for my mum’s IP address. That just didn’t feel right, so I ended the call. Seemed like a total scam to me.

Somebody called claiming to be from Amazon, wanted my IP address or something. As soon as I told them to bugger off, they just hung up on me.
