I got this robocall from someone saying they were an HMRC officer, telling me there was a legal action against me and to press one to talk about it. The message kept looping before I hung up. It felt dodgy to me since I’ve been retired for a couple of years and don’t get any benefits, so no reason for HMRC to be chasing me. Plus, I would think if it was really from a government agency, they’d send a letter rather than an automated phone call like that.
