I decided to give them a ring again last night, the 19th, and they told me they’d investigate and get back to me. Well, they didn’t bother to follow up at all. So, I reached out to Orange for assistance, but they didn’t have a clue who I was on about. I even passed on the phone number, and now they’re looking into the matter for me. Fingers crossed something gets sorted!

Got a call from this number yesterday claiming to be from Orange, offering to switch me to a cheaper monthly plan. Turns out, it’s actually some third-party firm working for Carphone Warehouse. I’ve been caught out by this before with LG, and it’s such a faff to cancel everything. I was stuck with a rubbish phone for ages. Orange themselves don’t ring you up to offer upgrades, so watch out - these companies say whatever they need to get you to take a new phone, likely billing it via Orange later. Best stick to dealing with the company that actually sends your bills!
