There’s this site called TPS, Telephone Preference Service, run by the government. Have a peek, it really cuts down on unwanted calls. I barely get any ring now. They’re not allowed to call you unless it’s marketing and you agreed to it.

This number rang me just after 8 this morning 012132131312. Luckily I got a call blocker fitted. I always check who’s calling, just incase it’s someone I know, so I do a 1471 to see the number. Looks like loads of people have had calls from this same number. We really have to put a stop to these folks, maybe by reporting them to OFCOM or telling our MPs, or even starting a petition to fight these annoying scam calls.

Following up on what I said on the 18th, I got a message today saying thanks for joining some survey and that I had a chance to win a free prize, just had to give some details. Yeah, no way I’m falling for that! Best just to ignore any calls or texts from numbers you don’t know.

They keep ringing me up saying they’re from a national survey. They use US numbers at first, then claim they’re calling from Warwickshire. When I asked about it, they told me not to be daft, saying it’s just a routing number. I then asked exactly where in Warwickshire they’re located, and they just hung up on me. They’re phoning me pretty much twice a day, even giving info about my old name and address!

Got a call from someone with a weird foreign accent asking about the old owner of my phone, which changed hands more than a decade ago. They used the wrong gender too. I told them they weren't here cos I felt like messing about (normally I’d say they passed away or got killed last week and ask for their address for the cops). Then the caller asked if I was related. I just got a call at lunchtime from someone with a foreign accent saying it was a survey. I had to cut them off quickly, told them I was tied up and hung up straight away. Why do these calls keep coming through? My mobile is vital for important calls about my elderly dad from the hospital, GP, care services, social workers and more. I seriously don’t have time for these random nuisance calls. Can someone please do something to block these unsolicited calls before I lose my patience?

Some bloke called ‘Charles’ from ‘National Survey’ rang me. Yeah, right. Told him I’m not interested and to stop calling me. Of course, he says he just needs to ask a couple of questions first. Classic.

Some woman with a foreign accent kept asking for a person who doesn’t even live here, kept saying it must be the old owner. I told her no and hung up. Then 5 minutes later the exact same call! Total scam, no previous owner, we built this place ourselves on what used to be farmland!

Just like others have said, they claimed to be from some 'National Survey'. The first call was from a lady, then a bloke called twice after that. I quickly hung up on the first couple of calls. On the third call, I told the man to stop ringing me, and he snapped back with a grumpy "Why do you want to know?" I’ve blocked the number now and wouldn’t suggest anyone share their details with them. I also reported it to the ICO.

A man of Asian descent got really aggressive and started yelling at me when I refused to give out my home address. He kept asking for it around 5 times despite me saying I wasn’t okay with sharing it! He said he was from "National Surveys," but didn’t explain much. Properly rude - seems like a scam to me. Now I’m a bit worried they’ve got my postcode. I’ve reported this number to the ICO - would be great if others did too, maybe they can sort it out then.
