This lady kept ringing me nonstop, claiming she was from the 3 mobile network and wanted to pitch me a new phone and SIM deal. I kept hanging up on her, but she just kept calling again and again. In the end, I had to block her number because it was getting ridiculous.

Got a call earlier today, some guy muttering about the phone provider. When I asked which one, he blurted out “Vodaphone” lol, which I'm definitely not with. So I told him to jog on, and not very nicely either. Never share your details! Make them prove who they are first - that’s the best way to spot the scammers.

A bloke called claiming to be with Scottish Power, saying they’d sort out all my pending bills if I switched over from my current supplier. Had a pretty thick Indian accent and wouldn't take no for an answer. I asked him to send an email with the details, then used the contact number from that email to track them down here. No doubt about it, this was a scam!

Got a call from someone claiming they were calling from British Gas, said they were from their Birmingham branch. Had a strong Indian accent and tried pushing me to change my energy deal, claiming prices that sounded way too good to be true 😁. Then they started probing for details about my business 😁. I just ended the call. What a bunch of scammers.

So obvious this is a total con... They claim they can reduce your bills but then want all your info - your bill, bank details, even your phone number. After that, they keep messaging and ringing you via WhatsApp. Tried looking up the company they're meant to be from and there’s nothing online, it’s like they don’t exist. They’ll promise to sort out your current contract and cover any money you owe, but it’s all a load of rubbish... they won’t do a thing, just want to steal your personal info. The number they call from keeps switching too, so watch out. If something feels off, just hang up immediately!

What a dodgy operation! This so-called energy firm claims to be saving you a few quid, but it's all a ruse. I had a chat with someone who sounded Indian but tried their best to emulate a British accent-went by the name of Kelly, apparently. They're really just after your personal information, specifically bank details, so steer clear! Trust me, this company is a total fabrication.

I got a call from someone with a weird attempt at a western accent but you could tell they had an Indian accent underneath. They started saying my energy bills were way too high. My iPhone said the call was coming from Birmingham. When I spoke quietly, they asked me to talk louder, which felt dodgy, so I just ended the call. Definitely smelled like a scam to me.

Got a call from someone saying they were an energy advisor, must've been a cold call. Didn't fancy it, so I just blocked the number.

Got a call from someone with a strong Indian accent claiming they’d help me save on energy bills with some cheap rates. They kept pushing to get my phone number so they could message me on WhatsApp. I told them no, but they said they’d already spoken to my energy provider and cancelled my contract - total rubbish, no call ever happened. Honestly, it’s a scam. There’s loads of these going about. If you get a call like that, just ask them which company they’re from, their customer service number, or their website. If the accent sounds Indian or Pakistani, just end the call straight away. Better safe than sorry!
