A bloke called claiming to be with Scottish Power, saying they’d sort out all my pending bills if I switched over from my current supplier. Had a pretty thick Indian accent and wouldn't take no for an answer. I asked him to send an email with the details, then used the contact number from that email to track them down here. No doubt about it, this was a scam!

Got a call from someone claiming they were calling from British Gas, said they were from their Birmingham branch. Had a strong Indian accent and tried pushing me to change my energy deal, claiming prices that sounded way too good to be true 😁. Then they started probing for details about my business 😁. I just ended the call. What a bunch of scammers.

Without a doubt, this is a scam! They claim they're able to help you save money, yet they're quick to request your billing information, bank account details, and phone number. Following this, you'll start receiving messages and calls on WhatsApp. A simple search for the company name they use reveals nothing on Google, as it’s likely a fictitious entity. They may assure you they’ll terminate your existing contract and cover any remaining payments, but it's all nonsense; they have no intention of reaching out to anyone on your behalf. They’re solely after your personal information, so DO NOT share it with them. Additionally, the number they use to call seems to change regularly, so remain vigilant. If you have any reservations, just hang up!

What a dodgy operation! This so-called energy firm claims to be saving you a few quid, but it's all a ruse. I had a chat with someone who sounded Indian but tried their best to emulate a British accent-went by the name of Kelly, apparently. They're really just after your personal information, specifically bank details, so steer clear! Trust me, this company is a total fabrication.

Received a call regarding my energy costs being excessively high, from someone with an Indian accent who was attempting a Western tone. My iPhone identified the location as Birmingham. The caller kept asking me to speak up, so I just decided to end the conversation. It felt dodgy, to say the least.

Received a call earlier, the bloke on the line had quite the Indian accent. He was fishing for personal info under the guise of offering low energy rates. Remarkably, he wanted my mobile number to send WhatsApp messages, which immediately raised my suspicions! Clearly a scam, so I hung up. He claimed he’d spoken to my energy supplier and that they’d terminated my service-what utter nonsense! No such call happened at all. Just steer clear of these dodgy characters, there are countless scams bombarding us these days. If they ask for your company, or get pushy about a customer service number or a website, be cautious. Honestly, if it’s an Indian or Pakistani accent, better to just end the conversation right then and there.
