Got a call from someone claiming I held a bitcoin with them and that I’d just logged in a couple minutes ago - totally not true as I’m at work. When I requested they erase my info under data protection laws, she responded saying “only you can do that.” From what I know, any company has to remove your data if you ask, whether you say it on the phone or send a text or email.

Spoke with someone with a really hard to understand Indian accent saying they were from Carphone Warehouse (not sure they really were!) trying to sell iPhone plans or SIM only deals. Claimed unlimited calls/texts/data for £7 a month, then dropped it to £6 on whatever network I want. That kind of deal just screams dodgy. Best just block the number and move on.
