9 yearsToday I got a call from a bloke using the number 0121 318 6230, claiming to be from some company called Technicion Inc, an American outfit. He said they wanted to give me some sort of rebate because I supposedly didn’t use their services as expected. Oddly, he asked what time it was in the UK, saying he was calling from abroad. He also insisted I needed to be on my computer so he could sort the refund. The number looks like it’s based in Birmingham or somewhere local though. I did have an agreement with Technicion Inc years back, and they’d definitely have my email and personal details. If there was a refund owing, they’d probably just post me a cheque, not call me up like this. Honestly, I reckon it’s a dodgy call.
