Some dodgy characters tried to con my elderly dad by attempting to gain control of his computer. They claimed to be from Microsoft, but it was all a ruse. Beware of these fraudsters!

I received two calls today, both from someone claiming to represent a window company. When I asked how they obtained my number, I was rather rudely told to stop talking and just listen to her spiel. After expressing my disinterest and trying to end the conversation, I hung up. To my surprise, they rang me back and told me to 'bugger off.' I've since blocked that number.
