When they asked for my name, I pointed out that if they were genuinely calling me, they should already have that information. The caller seemed rather put out by my response and insisted that she required verification of my identity. I replied, "You initiated this call on my phone, which is connected to my account, so the likelihood is that I am who I say I am, whereas I have no assurance about your identity."
