Chose not to pick up this call, as I've received a couple of others from the very same area code. They claimed there were suspicious activities linked to my broadband, threatening to disconnect me if I didn’t cooperate. They even prompted me to press one for a chat with a 'representative'. No chance, I'm not falling for that dodgy scheme.

Loads of calls keep coming from this group of numbers. There’s loads of them all doing the same scam. As soon as you say something, it sets off this recorded message warning about internet danger or whatever. But if you answer and stay quiet, the recording doesn’t start, no matter how long you stay on the line. Pretty clever trick. If you just let it go on, they can’t ring you again from that number until they end the call. You don’t get much from it, but it feels good having stopped that number bugging you for a while. So annoying and such a waste of time!

I ignored a call from this number. I've gotten a couple calls from the same area code warning me about supposed suspicious internet activity and threatening to disconnect my service. They said to press one to talk to an agent, but nah, I wasn’t having any of it. Ended up blocking every number from that code.

Had a couple of calls ringing through at various times. First was a lady about some property stuff, then someone from BT, and later a bloke tried to talk but I cut him off before he could say much. No voicemail or anything left, which is odd.

Got a call from a woman looking for a Mr Smith, I told her she had the wrong number. She then claimed to be from Trusted Properties, saying there were grants on offer if I answered a few silly questions. Didn’t bother with it and just blocked the number.

The caller kept mumbling their company name, even after I asked three times. When I questioned why they were calling, they just said my number was in their system. Then, when I mentioned the TPS, they suddenly cut me off in a really rude way. It’s annoying to get these unwanted calls from a stranger breaking TPS rules.
