Someone rang me saying they got my info from the Citizens Advice Bureau about some debt issues I supposedly have. I told them I don’t owe anything and never contacted CAB, so I asked where they got my number from - they just ended the call straight away. So, yesterday I got a call from some bloke looking for my 11 year old daughter. When I told him she was at school, he asked if I was related to her in a kind of Asian or Indian accent. Got a call from this number but no voicemail was left. Feels a bit dodgy, might be a scam.

So I got a text from this place offering me a £2000 loan, looked like a dodgy moneylender. I saved their number in my phone as PEST. Not long after, the same number rang me but I just ignored it. I usually do this with any nuisance calls if they show up on caller ID. Some of the names I give them in my contacts are far ruder than just “PEST”! Honestly, it cheers me up a bit to hang up on these calls. Cheers, Patsy

Whenever a bloke answers the phone they just hang up straight away, like they’re only after women or someting. But if a lady picks up, they actually have a conversation. Makes me wonder if the caller’s some kinda creep! I’ve had a couple of calls like that now, both times the guy answered and they cut off. Honestly, whoever’s behind those calls should be properly dealt with in court and locked up for making nuisance calls.
