My 77 year old mum, who recently lost her husband, just got a call from this number. The caller claimed to be from Scottish Widows about his life insurance. They asked for my mum’s address and date of birth and said they wanted to change her policy. When we told her to arrange the payments properly, she said we had to call Scottish Widows ourselves. Once we asked if she was really from Scottish Widows, she just hung up.
