Got calls from some place called simply connected. I’ve blocked like 70 of their numbers, but they just keep ringing. They called me 8 times between 10 in the morning and 8 at night. Proper pain in the neck.

Got a ring from some bloke with an Asian accent calling himself “Gary” from Simply Connected, asked if I was on payg or contract. Told him that’s none of his concern. I double checked his name and company, then nicely told him this number’s registered with the telephone preference service. Also let him know I’m keeping his info and planning to report him to the TPS, the ombudsman and even the cops for harassment and dodgy cold calling. He sounded proper stressed, haha. Cold callers like that deserve to get a bit of hassle.

I've been getting calls from this number twice daily for the past three days on my mobile. Seeing as I don’t know who it is, I've simply been ignoring it. The phone rings about four times before it cuts off. Does anyone know how I can put a stop to these calls?

If you’ve got a newer phone, you can easily block these callers! You never can tell, some of these numbers could be linked to trying to rip you off financially.

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent, saying he was from 02 and wanted to know if I was on a contract or pay-as-you-go. I told him if he was legit he’d already have that info. Then he just ended the call.

i picked up and there was a bit of a delay before someone came on the line which i reckon is typical of spam calls. the caller claimed to be from 02 and asked if i was on pay as you go or a contract. i asked why they even needed to ask that since they should know already, but he said he was working for a marketing firm doing promotions for 02. i didnt give any details and said i wasnt interested. wouldnt bother picking up, feels dodgy.

I've received several calls from this number purporting to be from O2, attempting to entice me with various deals. I've made it quite clear that I'm not interested, yet they persist in ringing me. Lately, they seem to call just to hang up right away. Quite baffling, really!

Just got a ring from some call centre, definitely sounded like it was from India or somewhere similar. They had all my details ready - address, postcode, phone number, even my email. It’s mad how easy they get hold of all our info! The lady said she could sort me a bargain with 02, so I asked her to email me the info. She went on saying ‘sorry, can’t do that, it’s a special offer just over the phone and only for a short time.’ Proper dodgy if you ask me.

I told him he’d called the wrong number and he was actually reaching the top bloke of the English/Armenian d### cartel’s private phone. I said I could find out who he was and get him back for jamming my line when I’m waiting on a crucial call from my Serbian contact! He just hung up straight away!!
