Got a call on the 15th of September from a number I didn’t recognise, so I let it ring off instead of answering. They ended up hanging up anyway. After seeing loads of similar reviews, I blocked the number. Still, they kept ringing today and I kept getting alerts about calls from blocked numbers. Since they aren’t pushing any products, reporting them to the TPS seemed a waste of time. this has to be a total scam - they claimed to be from the capital advice bureau, calling themselves experts in mortgages and insurance, and said I owed them money. when I asked for their Companies House registration number, they gave me one, but I checked and it’s not listed anywhere on the uk Companies House website. definitely do not give them any personal details, it’s a complete con!
