Called my landline but didnt leave a message. I’m pretty cautious about these calls but can only block 20 numbers on my phone, which isnt enough. They dont just hang up, they call loads of numbers at the same time and whoever answers first they go with that. Lots of these calls only ring for like 6 rings then cut off. If the call is actually for you, most of the time it will ring for around 40 seconds before stopping.

Fortunately, I have a Guardian phone that filters out unwanted calls, so it never even reaches the ringing phase; the device simply disconnects them. Despite them appearing on my call log, I just wipe them off without a second thought. There was a period when I was inundated with calls every couple of hours during the day - doesn't that qualify as harassment? Surely, the relevant authorities should be able to intervene in such cases?

They call my mobile more than twice a week, but usually hang up before I can pick up or right after I answer! I’ve tried calling back but only get a robotic voice. I can’t figure out why they keep bothering everyone like this, including themselves. Proper annoying little pests!!!

Got a call saying it was from Herefordshire Housing. I rang HHL myself and they said this number does belong to a company they hire for surveys and stuff. Didn’t share any info with them, but if they ring again, I’m fairly sure it’s legit and my info’s not at risk.

Got a call from 0121 314 0265 on my mobile, then the same number rang on the landline. When I picked up, they just hung up. Tried 1471 and the recorded message mentioned something about Volantaste, a market research company or something like that.

I received a call from this number on my landline, which isn’t listed in directories, you see. When I didn’t pick up, they then attempted to contact me on my mobile, which I only updated last month! As someone who is disabled and dealing with the recent loss of my husband, I find this intrusion absolutely appalling. They truly are the lowest of the low. Mark my words, I will uncover their identity, even if it takes every ounce of determination in me. How utterly callous they are!

They asked for me by name and then started quizzing about how many people live at my place and whether I’m on my own. I told them to take me off their list and ended the call. Really didn’t feel right, probably searching for easy targets to scam or rob. I’d recommend not picking up.
