Got a call from a man with an Indian accent claiming he was from TALK TALK. He told me they needed to update my router settings and said my internet would be down for a couple of days. I asked him to confirm he really worked for TALK TALK, but he started getting a bit upset and said he'd connect me to his supervisor. Then he told me to turn on my PC, but I just ended the call there.

Some bloke rang saying he was with my internet company, but as soon as I started asking questions he just dropped the call.

Got a call from someone with a pretty heavy Indian accent who said they were ringing from Germany. They warned me that my internet would be cut off for 3 days because my router had been hacked. I didn’t share any details and just hung up. Later, I phoned my broadband provider and they assured me it wasn’t anything to worry about and the call was a scam.

Somebody called me from India saying they were from Talk Talk, telling me my IP got hacked and someone's using it. I wasn’t convinced so I just told them off and ended the call. Fair chance they’re trying to steal info or something dodgy like that!
