Got one of those calls claiming I’d recently been in a car smash - classic ambulance chasing scam, don’t fall for it!

Got a ring from Birmingham the other day, the caller asked if I'd been involved in a car crash, which I actually was just recently. When I asked where they got my contact from, they just dropped the call. Definitely sounded like a scam. I'm still trying to figure out how they got my phone number. Within like 40 minutes of reporting my accident, I started getting scam calls from loads of different numbers. Proper annoying!

They keep ringing me non-stop, all from the same number but claiming to be different companies! Just block them, don’t bother answering!
