He asked for me by my name but I jus wasnt sure what he wanted. I never said I was the person he looked for. He spoke really quick, so I asked if he even knew who he was calling. He said he said his name at the start. I told him nicely to leave me alone. Blocked another number.

What they’re selling changes depending on which contract the call centre has. It’s pretty straightforward - just don't pick up if you don’t know the number. If it’s something urgent, they’ll leave a voicemail, or if it’s a call centre, they usually give up after a few rings. Then you can look up the number and block it if needed.
