I never pick up calls from unknown numbers, and if there’s no voicemail left, I just look them up online. If it’s not connected to anyone or any company I know, I block the number straight away. I’ve had my fair share of annoyance from this particular number. After hanging up on them the first time, they’ve taken to ringing me every few days like clockwork. I thought about answering, but it seems they’re utterly oblivious to the lack of interest. Now, I just let the phone ring and listen to them ramble on to nobody. Life insurance firm called me. Sounded like something outta The Wolf of Wall Street, all cheers and clapping when they “closed a deal”! Honestly, dont waste your time. They kick off with "have you got life insurance?" then jump straight into their sales pitch. Feels like another dodgy scam call promising to save you money or some rubbish like that.

I’ve got this comms gadget to chat with my hubby when I’m out on my motorbike (just started riding, so still nervous). Was trying to get directions from him while creeping along some cobblestones and ended up answering a call by mistake (it’s voice activated). The person on the other end just wouldn’t hang up, even after me saying loads of times I’m on a bike and she really should end the call. Proper annoying!
