This gives them the impression that I'm not financially able to make a purchase, prompting them to take me off their calling list without my needing to say a word. They had the audacity to claim that my current policy was utterly useless (how on earth they could possibly ascertain that is quite the mystery to me!), asserting it would expire when I hit 67. Of course, I said I don’t deal with firms I don’t know over the phone, but they kept at it. The guy was fairly nice though, trying to get me to share more details. Eventually, I ended the call politely. Just a heads up: watch what info you give out to strangers. Worst case, they might churn your number around loads of other lists and you’ll end up with tons of unwanted calls on your mobile.
