I got a call from this number earlier today but they didn’t bother leaving a voicemail. Got curious after seeing the comments here, so I tried ringing them back. Come 2pm on 19/06/23, the line was disconnected. Still, I’ve blocked the number just in case. Bet they’ll be back with another one soon enough! Honestly, these scammy folks are such muppets, hope they come across this post 🤡🤡🤡, haha!

Whenever I get a call, I first ask who it is, then I say hold on a moment, I must tell you this conversation is being recorded and that the details will be passed on to the fraud team. They always hang up straight away and never ring back. Hope this helps!

A guy named Karl called saying he was with BSI legal and tax, saying they were helping me claim back PPI that’d somehow gone to HMRC. He knew my full name, address, and phone number, which was kinda creepy. He kept pushing me to sign up, saying it was no win no fee, but I wasn't convinced.

I received an unsolicited call from a bloke named Karl who claimed to be working for BSI Legal and Tax. He mentioned something about a PPI payment due to me that, supposedly, has been sent off to HMRC as tax. He insisted they would look into it for me on a no win, no fee basis. The thing is, I’ve never put in for any PPI refunds, nor do I recall ever having taken out any PPI at all. I'm convinced this is just yet another pesky cold call, or worse, a no-good scam artist trying to pull a fast one.

This number 01212892670 called me twice, once yesterday and again today around 4:20. After checking this site, it’s clear it’s a scam from Birmingham. I just shouted at them and hung up sharpish. Also, heads up for these dodgy numbers too: 08001836416, 08001846403, and 08004089340 - all Virgin Media scams. Hopefully, sharing this helps others avoid getting caught out by these spammers. Absolute muppets!

I got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent claiming he was calling from some PPI firm, saying I was owed cash! Bit odd really, since I’ve never taken out PPI in my life! I let him know his story didn’t add up, told him I’ve never had anything to do with PPI and firmly asked him not to ring me up again!
