I received an unexpected call today (around 12:15 in the afternoon, Thursday, 12/05/16) from a gentleman of Indian descent using the number 01212885519. He claimed to be inquiring about a car accident I supposedly had (which I did not, mind you). When I asked how he obtained my contact information, he mentioned something about it coming from accident investigations. I firmly told him to erase my number from his records since I'm ex-directory (which I truly am) and I’m puzzled as to how he even acquired my details! totally the same thing happened to me like everyone else said. my number is registered with the TPS but it seems to make no difference. companies just keep using our details and passing them around to other firms. no clue who’s buying or selling the info, it’s a complete mess.

Got a call from 01212885519 today, an Indian guy claiming he was from the road traffic department. He said someone at my address was involved in an accident within the last 3 years. I’m a pensioner and currently going through family health issues and a recent loss, so it really scared me a lot. Honestly, it made me feel quite unwell. There’s no way this kind of thing should be legal, it’s just cruel.

Got a call from a "Rachel" with an Indian accent, claiming she was from Accident Compensation UK Ltd. She was asking for info about someone involved in a car crash. Came across this number today in the call log on my BT Truecall phone. It's got this nifty feature where anyone not already on my approved list has to state their name before they can get through. This bloke didn’t introduce himself, so my phone stayed silent. A tad frustrating having to invest in this gadget just to avoid pesky callers, but it's completely eradicated those annoying calls, and I couldn't be happier! I’m not affiliated with BT or their staff in any way, but as far as I know, they’re currently the only ones offering something like this in a phone.

Got a call today from someone insisting it wasn’t a cold call. Couldn’t give me the name of the person they said they wanted or where they were calling from. They claimed I’d been in a car crash, which is mad since I don’t even own a car or drive.

Looks like every review here is spot on. Got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent, telling me I’d had an accident sometime in the past three years. I told him no way, then he reckoned someone in my family had. Problem is, they live a good 200 miles away, so I can’t see how he made that link. I told him my number wasn’t listed anywhere and demanded he take me off his call list or I’d be reporting him.

Got a call from someone saying they were from the Accident Investigation Unit at Watermans Solicitors. Watermans are legit lawyers in Scotland but have absolutely no links with this lot. These scammers are just lowlifes with nothing else to do except take advantage of decent people. Someone needs to track them down and stop them.

This number keeps ringing me up, even tho I never put my number on any do not call list. Did a quick search online and came across a dodgy site linked to it (Accident Injury Advisors). Their 'Media Centre' is just a bunch of copied articles from the Mirror! The 'About Us' section is hilarious, looks like they just made up names and pinched pictures from Google! Honestly, this so-called 'business' looks like a total scam and should be steered clear of at all times.

I received a call from a chap purporting to be with the "Accident Investigating Service," claiming that I was somehow implicated in an accident. At first, he was quite reticent about revealing his identity or the number he was calling from. However, after I mentioned that I’d be reporting the number to the authorities, he reluctantly disclosed his details. Quite a peculiar situation, to say the least!

I keep getting constant calls about car crashes. I've told them loads of times to stop calling me and to take my number off their list, but it doesn't help at all. The callers sound Asian and are usually really hard to understand. They’re such a pain, and honestly, something serious needs to be done to put an end to this.

I just received a call from this number, but all that greeted me was silence. Eventually, I was met with a robotic voice that simply said, 'goodbye.' The caller? A mystery, as it was listed as unknown. Quite peculiar, really!

Both me and my other half noticed this number showing up after we checked with 1471. Neither of us got a voicemail or anything, and when we called back, no one answered. It got us a bit anxious since we’ve got relatives living in Birmingham and thought it could be related to them. Plus, we’re both off the public phone lists and signed up with TPS, so it’s a mystery why this person was trying to contact us.

Received a dodgy phone call today! The person on the other end was quite nasty and brushed me off, insisting that I must have been in an accident since my insurance had apparently reached out to them. When I asked for their company name, they outright refused to provide it! Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

Some bloke with a foreign accent rang up claiming he worked for the accident investigation team. He said they thought someone using my number had been in an accident sometime in the past three years. I told him no, that wasn’t right, and he just cut me off straight away.

I received a call from 1055, and after a brief pause, a voice that sounded foreign - perhaps African - introduced himself as Dominic from Accident Insurance. I didn’t wait a moment longer and cut in, insisting, "Absolutely not, this is clearly a scam!" and hung up the phone promptly. The number was 01212 885519.

I've made it abundantly clear that they need to erase my number from their records, threatening to involve my solicitor if they didn’t. The incessant calls seemed to cease for a spell, yet, lo and behold, they've begun haunting me once more. Got a call at half one on 28th November 2015, and when I picked up, there was complete silence on the other end. I tried ringing them back, but for the first eight attempts, nothing connected. Eventually, I reached their voicemail and left a message letting them know I was onto their little scam and that I’d be reporting them. I persisted with my calls, only to reach the answering machine once more. This time, I decided to leave a rather cheeky message. I reckon I’ll keep giving them a bell whenever I’m in the mood for a bit of mischief and see how they enjoy the game!
