Got a call from a Birmingham number claiming to be from an energy firm, wanting me to do some kind of survey. Told them I wasn’t interested and asked them to stop calling me. Ended up blocking the number now.

I picked up and some bloke actually used my full name which kinda freaked me out, said he was from an energy firm. Told him I was at work and tied up, he was polite and just said alright then hung up. Thought it was odd they didn’t bother asking when’d be a better time to chat about switching energy providers.

In the last couple of days, I’ve received a couple of calls that I didn’t bother answering. I advise everyone to make it a habit to search for unfamiliar numbers on Google before picking up; it really can save you both time and perhaps a bit of cash as well!
