I got a phone call from this number, saying they were from 118 and needed to update their system. They asked for my email, business address, and my name. I wasn't really happy with the questions, so I just gave them a fake name instead.

Gets in touch roughly every couple of weeks, sounds like some kind of automated system or robo-dialler.

Honestly, I don’t think any real, proper utility company would start a call with something like ‘oh, hello baby gi’. When she asked for my email, I just made one up on the spot and she didn’t even notice. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.

I asked him what company he was with and he had proper dodgy English before just telling me to f##k off and hanging up on me. When will these scammers stop pestering us?!
