Got a phone call from someone called Asif claiming to be from Opus Energy about a business that isn’t mine but sounds quite a lot like my own company name. He gave me a number and a reference, asked me to ring back before 2pm, but I just ignored it.

This number keeps ringing me and the person at the other end just ends the call straight away every single time.

Felt a bit dodgy to me. The caller said she was from Opus Energy and was chasing a debt. When I asked her for her name and the company she was with, she hung up straight away. Mind you, I did tell her that we’d already reported Opus Energy to the Energy Ombudsman.
