The caller claimed they were with Legal & General. When I dialled back, they instantly knew my name and thanked me for returning the call. I asked what the call was about, and they said it was just a courtesy check on my policy. The thing is, I don’t have any policy with them. As soon as I pointed that out, they cut me off right away. Definitely a bunch of scammers. I’ve blocked the number straight away and advise everyone to do the same. Don’t bother answering or calling back.

Over the past ten days, this number has rung me up three different times. Each time they wanted to speak to a person who left this place roughly five years ago, and then they just cut off without a word. Quite odd really.
